Use Companion

After setting up a Companion in the M-Trust Console, you can start using it with the M-Trust Companion mobile app to perform demo verifications with your hardware devices. Follow the steps below to access and interact with your configured Companions and explore the product verification process.

Download the M-Trust Companion App

Download the M-Trust Companion app from the Apple App Store (available soon). Once installed, open the app and log in using your M-Trust account credentials to access your Companion configurations.

Select a Companion

After logging in, you’ll see a list of all Companions configured within the M-Trust Console that you have permission to access. Each Companion configuration represents a unique demo environment where you can test and explore verification features. Select the Companion you wish to use.

Verification Demo

With a Companion selected, you can initiate a verification demo using one of the supported hardware devices, the SEC-Reader or the IMP-Reader, for testing product authentication. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan a product and verify its authenticity using the selected device.

View Verification Results

A successful verification is indicated by a green checkmark, confirming the product’s authenticity. A failed verification is indicating that the product is not authentic.
